HiSky launches its Summer 2026 schedule

HiSky has officially published its flight schedule for the 2026 summer season. The program, which begins at the end of March and runs through October, includes 27 direct routes operated from Romania and the Republic of Moldova, with departures from all seven airports currently served by the airline: Bucharest, Chișinău, Cluj-Napoca, Timișoara, Oradea, Iași and Baia Mare.
For the upcoming season, HiSky strengthens its presence on the transatlantic segment, reaching a total of six weekly flights to the United States. In addition to the well-established New York service, operated four times per week, the airline will inaugurate its second U.S. destination, the new direct route between Bucharest and Chicago, starting June 4, 2026, with two weekly flights every Thursday and Sunday.
“We continue to follow a steady path of growth, with a balanced portfolio of routes and an increasingly solid network. Each season we add a new destination, but we give equal importance to strengthening existing ones, by increasing weekly frequencies and improving connectivity for our passengers. It’s a carefully planned development strategy focused on stability and service quality, ensuring that network expansion goes hand in hand with an ever-improving travel experience. After two years in which our New York flights have stood as one of our key milestones, the highlight of the coming summer will undoubtedly be Chicago,” said Iulian Scorpan, CEO of HiSky.
The Summer 2026 schedule consolidates HiSky’s network of direct flights, connecting Romania and the Republic of Moldova with major destinations across Europe, the Middle East, and the United States. From Bucharest, the airline will operate 13 direct routes to New York, Chicago, Frankfurt, Paris, Brussels, Tel Aviv, Dublin, Malaga, Barcelona, Chișinău, Cluj, Timișoara and Oradea, with an average of around 70 departures per week.
From Chișinău, HiSky will operate an average of 43 weekly flights to 11 international destinations: Bucharest, Dublin, Frankfurt, Düsseldorf, Hamburg, Paris, Milan, London, Venice, Tel Aviv and Istanbul, maintaining the Moldovan capital as one of the best-connected airports in the region.
From Cluj-Napoca, HiSky continues to operate daily flights to Bucharest and direct service to Dublin. From Timișoara, passengers can fly daily to Bucharest, from Oradea, to Bucharest and London, from Iași, to Dublin, and from Baia Mare, twice weekly to Paris.
The summer schedule has been designed to ensure optimal network synergy, allowing passengers from across the region to easily reach any HiSky destination. The flight times are carefully coordinated for short layovers and convenient transfers, with a single booking and through-checked baggage to the final destination. Via the Bucharest hub, passengers from Cluj, Timișoara, Oradea, Chișinău and Tel Aviv can also connect seamlessly to HiSky’s transatlantic routes.
