HiSky opens its third destination from Oradea Flights to Milan, starting December

Bergamo Airport, located near the Italian metropolis of Milan, becomes the third destination to which HiSky will operate regular flights from Oradea. The first flight is scheduled for December 17, and following the route's inauguration, passengers from Bihor will be able to travel to the northern Italian city twice a week, every Tuesday and Saturday. The launch offer starts from only €39 per flight segment, with a travel time of approximately two hours. 

The announcement of this new destination comes just days after the airline inaugurated its first scheduled flights from Oradea. Since mid-October, passengers from Oradea can fly with HiSky to London on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays, and to the capital city, Bucharest, every day of the week.

This is the sixth airport in the country we've turned our attention to, following the same development strategy we've previously announced: offering affordable alternatives for direct flights from any region of the country to the capital and the world's most important cities. We entered into this partnership with full confidence in the region's potential to become one of our key hubs, and the feedback we've received so far confirms that the decision to come to Oradea was the right one. After London, northern Italy emerged as a much-anticipated destination, so, as we usually do, we listened to our passengers' wishes, and from December, people from Oradea will be able to land at Bergamo Airport aboard a HiSky aircraft," detailed Iulian Scorpan, CEO of HiSky. 

Earlier this year, HiSky entered a joint venture agreement with Air Oradea, the public company owned by Oradea City Hall and the Bihor County Council. This partnership laid the groundwork for expanding operations at this airport, providing travel options not only for residents of Bihor but also for Romanian and foreign tourists attracted by Oradea's and the surrounding area's tourism offerings. 

HiSky's flights from Oradea Airport are operated using one of the ten Airbus A320 family aircraft in its fleet. Passengers can fly with HiSky on regular routes from the airports in Bucharest, Cluj Napoca, Timișoara, Iași, Baia Mare, Oradea, and Chișinău to cities across Europe and the United States, as well as charter flights to vacation destinations in Asia and Africa.
